FLATROPE was born from a real problem.
Our founder, Paul, had a client Trina, who was training hard for a local fitness competition featuring weighted jump ropes – and she had her heart set on winning. But during practice, she injured her ankle with a traditional weighted jump rope, crushing her chances before she even got to compete.
Ankle injury happens when landing on a 1-1/2″ thick rope with 3-6x your weight in force.
